Privacy

Short version: this site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads nothing from other companies unless you click a button asking it to. The only data collected is what any web server records to stay online.

I am the controller for the processing described here, as defined in Art. 4(7) GDPR.

Server log files

The hosting provider automatically records each request to this site in a log file. These records contain:

  • the page or file requested
  • the date and time of the request
  • the amount of data transferred
  • the referring URL, if your browser sends one
  • browser type and version, and operating system
  • your IP address

This data cannot be traced back to you by me, and I do not combine it with any other source. It is not analysed for anything beyond keeping the site running and investigating faults or attacks.

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. My legitimate interest is the technically correct delivery and the security of this site. Log data is deleted after a short retention period set at the hosting level.

Hosting

This site is hosted by ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich, Hauptstraße 68, 02742 Friedersdorf, Germany. The provider processes the log data described above on my behalf as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR, on the basis of a data processing agreement.

No cookies, no tracking

This site sets no cookies. It uses no analytics, no tag manager, no pixels, no A/B testing and no advertising network. Nothing is written to your browser's local or session storage. There is therefore no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to.

Fonts

All typefaces are stored on this server and delivered from it. No request is made to Google Fonts or any other font service, so no data reaches a third party when a page loads.

Embedded media from YouTube and Spotify

Some entries include a video or a playlist. These are not loaded automatically. You see a placeholder describing what will happen, and nothing is requested from the platform until you press the button.

If you press it, the platform receives your IP address and may set cookies or read existing ones. This is a transfer to a third party and, in the case of YouTube (Google Ireland Limited), may involve processing outside the EU. YouTube embeds use the extended privacy mode (youtube-nocookie.com), which limits but does not eliminate this.

Your decision is deliberately not remembered: storing it would mean writing to your browser, which is exactly what this site avoids. You will be asked again on the next page.

Their policies: Google · Spotify

Contact by email

If you write to me, your message and address are stored so I can reply. Legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, or Art. 6(1)(b) where your message concerns a possible agreement. I delete correspondence once it is no longer needed and no retention obligation applies.

Encryption

This site is served over HTTPS. Content in transit cannot be read by third parties.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to the data concerning you (Art. 15), its correction (Art. 16), its deletion (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), and portability (Art. 20). Where processing rests on legitimate interest, you may object at any time (Art. 21).

You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR). A list of the German authorities is published by the Federal Commissioner for Data Protection.
